Winter maintenance continues…

We’re still really busy in the workshop getting everything ready for the new season.  We were slowed down a little over Christmas with the ice getting up to 4 inches thick across Hickling broad, but whilst it’s still very cold at least we’ve been able to move boats in and out of the shed.  We weren’t idle whilst the ice was here and Philip, Mum and Adam were able to get loads of clearing up done in the shed and threw masses of accumulated rubbish away.  We even found a brand new boat loo that we didn’t even know that we had.

On Monday we’ll be launching Hawaiian Goose and bringing Canada into the shed, as well as welcoming a new member of staff on board.  Jason comes to us from another yard and is looking forward to joining our team.

It’s a bit late for New Years Resolutions, but as this is the first post of 2010, I shall resolve to update the site a bit more often in 2010!
